Marshall Hughes was born in St. John’s and grew up in Nova Scotia. After completing his career on the Canadian National Sprint Kayak Team, he returned home to Newfoundland to be closer to family. While spending more than eight years on the national team, Marshall trained and competed all over the world, raced in multiple World Championships, and proudly earned a silver medal at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. These experiences instilled the discipline, focus, and resilience he now brings to his professional life.
Marshall has built a successful career in sales, developing a reputation for truly listening to his clients, understanding their needs, and guiding them toward choices that will serve them well for years to come.
“Spending years on the road taught me just how important it is to have a true home base—a place that grounds you, reflects who you are, and supports the life you want to build. That’s why real estate, to me, is so much more than a transaction. I understand that buying or selling a home is one of the most personal decisions you’ll ever make, and I approach every client with honesty, care, and a deep respect for their journey. My goal is to guide you through the process with ease and confidence, so you can focus on what matters most—finding a place to call home.”
